Terms of Service

Terms and conditions for Automotive Repair Services at Rising Sun Automotive, located in Chardon, OH.

This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the provision of automotive repair services by Rising Sun Automotive. 

** Rising Sun Automotive is referred to as RSA for the entirety of this document. **      

  1. Service Agreement: By engaging the services of RSA, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
  2. Estimates: All cost estimates provided by RSA are based on the initial assessment of the vehicle’s condition. Actual costs may vary depending on the extent of repairs needed. The customer will be informed of any changes in cost before the commencement of additional work.
  3. Authorization: The customer authorizes RSA to perform the agreed-upon repairs and services. Any additional work not covered by the initial estimate will require separate authorization and agreement on costs.
  4. Parts and Materials: RSA reserves the right to use new, used, or aftermarket parts as deemed appropriate for the repair, and the customer will be informed of the contition of the parts when quoted. All replaced parts will be retained by RAS unless otherwise specified or requested by the customer.
  5. Payment Terms: Payment for services is due upon completion of the repairs. RSA accepts checks, cash, credit cards, and other agreed-upon methods. Invoices not paid within the specified timeframe are subject to late fees and may result in legal action for collection. All vehicles are subject to a storage fee of $20 per business day 30 days after repairs are completed and invoices left unpaid.
  6. Warranty: RSA provides a limited warranty on repairs for a period of 12 months. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, negligence, or misuse.
  7. Customer’s Responsibilities: Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their vehicle’s condition. RSA is not liable for any issues arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the customer.
  8. Liability: RSA is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle during the repair process. The customer is advised to remove valuables from the vehicle before leaving it with RSA.
  9. Delays: RSA will make all reasonable efforts to complete repairs within the estimated time frame. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. In the case of any significant delays, the customer will be notified.
  10. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with local laws.
